The global outage of services has become a norm. A day before yesterday, Fastly outage brought down several websites caused by a user. Now, users report that social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are not working. It seems that these services were partially working in countries. However, the outage is global now. #InstagramDown is also trending on Twitter.
According to the website DownDetector, which tracks online outages, the issue began at 6:40pm EDT / 11:40pm GMT.
Users are reporting issues in Pakistan, United Kingdom, United States, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Bangladesh, and more.
Users are posting memes that whenever the social trio (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) gets down, Twitter works as a support system for them.
