Another day, another Instagram error that’s been a pain in the a**.
Not kidding, it’s really frustrating.
I bought a new phone, installed all essential apps, and then tried logging into my Instagram account. Boom, there’s an error, just like the “username you entered doesn’t belong to an account” error.
I feel it’s because of the new phone or sometimes a connection (WIFI or Data) that Instagram doesn’t recognize. Fair enough but this should show relevant errors and not such doofus “can’t find account” errors.
Error: “Can’t find account”
What’s the fix?
After trying several workarounds, I noticed that I was using the wrong password all along. 🤦🏻♂️
So, if you’re seeing this error on your Android, iPhone, and web.
Solution: Double-check your password and username before proceeding. That helped me log into my Instagram account.
It was me, I get that, but it wasn’t completely my fault, was it? Instagram should only show relevant errors instead of randomly showing an error that doesn’t even make sense.
If someone from Instagram is seeing this, please work on your error messages. Oftentimes, they’re confusing and most people do not even understand why an error is showing up at first.
