Uninstalling apps on Mac is similar to how you uninstall apps on iOS. However, sometimes, the apps just won’t behave the way they should. Therefore, I am sharing this simplest guide to remove macOS applications in just a few clicks completely. This method works best when the Mac apps won’t delete. You can also try deleting apps completely via Terminal, but this method is the simplest out there.
To uninstall or completely remove any macOS application, you can follow these simple steps given below:
-
Close the app you want to remove
-
Go to Finder > Applications
-
Find and select the app you want to uninstall
-
Press Command + Delete
-
The app will be moved to Trash
-
Clean the app from Trash
-
Voila! The app is removed.
So, these were the simple steps to remove or uninstall a Mac application. Of course, you can also try removing apps by using Terminal commands, but this one seems much safer than deleting all of the data by accident, right?
